Sweden Fieldnotes | Exploring & Shooting in Stockholm, Göteborg, & Köpstadsö
I wasn't expecting to find myself in Scandinavia this Spring. Some Swedish stars fell in heavenly alignment and the serendipitous Baltic familial rendezvous suddenly became an actuality - P, Sachiko, Chiara, Yury, Aidan. I shot a couple rolls of 35mm film that got entirely got eviscerated by a surreptitious mechanical error in the AE-1 I was wielding. The cemetery, the island villages, the fika - when I close my eyes at the sandman's doorstep these images flicker into focus, just for a second. These videos are all I have to document this lovely, frigid excursion to the icy northern lands of Sverige - thank you for watching.

On the eve of Jeen-Yuhs episode #3, Alex, Raph, and I hopped into a Soho Hertz rental and headed 3 hours north to New York's Minnewaska State Park for a lovely, brain-smoothing, icy hike. We strapped our spikes to the bottom of our Salomons and trekked a few miles across the rocky cliffside to a roaring waterfall, stopping many times in between to shoot off our rolls of film, cook lunch, and drink coffee. I Make The Incense House
Oi oi! We hath returned with a new video! For a minute I've been meaning to build a custom incense house and with the help of a random Italian I finally have. Although this was shot.. a while ago, I just recently got around to finishing it up. It's a little bit of design, a little bit of illustration/animation, and a little bit of video editing acrobatics.
